CORE4 HIGH SCHOOL
TThe CORE4 Academy High School Program provides high school student athletes (grades 9-12) with the opportunity to excel in a supportive academic environment while deepening their basketball skills in an immersive training system and taking advantage of a well-rounded life skill development curriculum. In collaboration with National University Virtual High School (NUVHS), CORE4 Academy High School Program student athletes can attend NUVHS to earn their high school diploma.
At CORE4, we have seen the impact of focused development training on young athletes both on and off the court. The CORE4 Academy is a school-year residential program established with the intention of providing intensive basketball skills training and a competitive play schedule, paired with high school academic credits and college preparatory.
Students are provided:
Supervised housing options
Transportation to/from school, practices and games
Nutritious meal plans
Required academic classes for credit
Academic support including tutoring and test prep
Social/emotional and life-skill development coaching
Strength and conditioning, speed and agility training along with injury prevention management
Daily schedule of elite basketball training
Competitive schedule of games and tournaments
Cultural and community service opportunities throughout the year
The CORE4 Academy is set up to accommodate both individual and team inquiries.
Families or teams interested in exploring the CORE4 Academy for the 2019-2020 season should complete the inquiry application form below. Admissions applications will be considered on a rolling basis while spaces are available.
CORE4 Academy and National University Virtual High School (NUVHS) are collaborating to offer an exceptional high school educational experience by providing students with rigorous college-prep online courses delivered by seasoned and credentialed NUVHS teachers with academic support being provided by CORE4 Academy. Accredited by both WASC and AdvandED/Cognia, NUVHS offers over 100 UC a-g and NCAA approved online high school courses, including Advanced Placement (AP) and exciting electives, which are accessible 24 hours a day and can be completed in a flexible, asynchronous online learning environment.
